These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the Scribl web application ("App") provided by Classify Education Services FZCO ("we", "us", or "our"). By accessing or using Scribl, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, please do not use the App.
By accessing, browsing, or using Scribl, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated herein by reference.
Scribl is intended for educators and educational professionals. You must be of legal age in your jurisdiction and authorized by your institution to use the App. If you do not meet these requirements, please refrain from using Scribl.
License:
We grant you a non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and use Scribl solely for its intended educational purposes.
Restrictions:
You agree not to modify, reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works based on Scribl without our prior written consent. You further agree not to use the App for any unlawful or prohibited activities.
Compliance:
You must use Scribl in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations, including those of the United Arab Emirates.
Responsibility:
You are solely responsible for all content, including writing samples, that you upload or submit through Scribl.
License to Us:
By submitting content, you grant us a worldwide, royalty-free, non-exclusive license to use, display, reproduce, modify, and distribute your content for the purpose of providing and improving Scribl.
Accuracy and Ownership:
You warrant that all content you upload is accurate, lawful, and does not infringe the rights of any third party.
All content, features, and functionality of Scribl—including text, graphics, logos, images, and software—are the property of Classify Education Services FZCO or its licensors and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You agree not to use, copy, or distribute any content from Scribl without our express written permission.
We are committed to protecting your privacy and data. Please refer to our Privacy Policy for detailed information on how we collect, use, and safeguard your personal data. While we take reasonable measures to secure your data, we cannot guarantee absolute security, and you use Scribl at your own risk.
AI Assessments:
Scribl provides writing assessments, including success criteria analysis and writing age estimation. These assessments are generated by AI and are intended for informational purposes only. They should not be the sole basis for educational decisions.
Highlighting Feature:
Any feature that highlights portions of text based on success criteria is provided as a tool to assist teachers. We do not guarantee the accuracy or completeness of such highlights.
No Warranty:
Scribl is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, either express or implied.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Classify Education Services FZCO shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, arising out of or in connection with your use of Scribl. Our total liability to you for any claims arising from your use of Scribl shall not exceed any fees paid by you to use the App.
Modifications:
We reserve the right to modify or update these Terms at any time. Any changes will be effective immediately upon posting on Scribl, and your continued use of the App constitutes your acceptance of such changes.
Termination:
We may suspend or terminate your access to Scribl at our sole discretion, without prior notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to us or other users.
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United Arab Emirates. Any disputes arising out of or related to these Terms or Scribl shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the UAE courts.
